If I can't have you Or anything that reminds me of you I'll carry on So you might miss me when I'm gone. I'm in the ether It's now or neither Filter me through you If you go away Or anywhere that I can't stay Slice myself thin So I can live beneath your skin Lost in the zone Surrounded and alone Filter me through you

Glide 06:22
At this place where I'm hanging now Corruptible, destructible Capable of breaking or being broken. I may not be ready for what you've got to give, Tethered by reality for so many years I'm flying high and not ready to touch the ground. I just glide I may never get higher I don't have to come down I don't have to come down I'm not bound by rules I'm not corrupted by code Or bothered by civility or norms Or anything that kept me up night after night Older than I was when I made the rules that held me down I don't think I'll be traveling down that road again I just glide I may never get higher I don't have to come down I don't have to come down I built a hole in my wall to see you from the other side I keep you close but Set you loose as I see fit to choose Go where you wanna go Do what you need to do Strip yourself naked against the sky I might be there to catch you when you fall I just glide I may never get higher I don't have to come down I don't have to come down.

Cornered, alone Beaten down and confused Slaughtered and tripped out One eye on the exit sign With more than I could use You might say I was stuck on a pin With only one way to go Not in, not in. I had to get out, way way out Beyond the pale Strictly no sale. Just to get out of my head Anything to take me out of my head. My friends were worried But what could I do? I might have said that I Was worried about them too. What I had to do, I understood I went higher and higher And it was good It was very very good Just to get out of my head Anything to take me out of my head

80 West 04:15
Hand clutched rigid on a steering wheel Whiskey underneath the seat, carefully concealed Odometer has turned over 3 times But I only gotta make it across the county line Pennsylvania stretches out a mighty long ways Keep it low speed so it feels like days Got the FM radio on the left Some talk show zombie boring me to death Something happened out on 80 West I can't figure--I can't figure it out. Had me a dream for 30 years But it changes just as easily as shifting gears The only thing that scares me more than getting caught Is to stop and think about the lies I bought Something happened out on 80 West Cars lined up on the frontage road Something happened out on 80 West I can't figure--I'm trying to figure it out. Something happened out on 80 West Around the moment when everything just snapped Something happened out on 80 West I'm not turning back Something happened out on 80 West One puzzle solved and another one blown sky high Something happened out on 80 West I can't figure--I can't figure it out.

Like Mary 04:57
Soon as the pills started kicking in She decided to go for a drive The sun was shining through the afternoon haze And she felt more alive She had pictures of her children She remembered all of their names She knew it was much better for them now But it hurt just the same And there's so many reasons for everything And people who just talk without listening And people who spend their whole lives waiting Like Mary Put 50 cents in the jukebox A-11 came up So many years trying to do her best Was it really enough? He loved her like a sister He loved her like a mom He remembered what it was to fall in love And then he was gone And there's so many reasons for everything And people who just talk without listening And people who spend their whole lives waiting Like Mary In her dreams there were people watching As they lowered her into the ground In her dreams she was lost at sea And never found In her dreams she found another lover Who never knew her before In her dreams she was beautiful Lying on the floor And there's so many reasons for everything And people who just talk without listening And people who spend their whole lives waiting Like Mary

The Circle 04:33
I found a way to slow it down I was twisting all the knobs And grinding gears in to the dust Of smoke that covered up the corridors of time Aiding and abetting an escape I thought was mine and only mine Where no one's standing guard Or dishing dirt and naming names The past is easier to bend I found a way to slow it down I've got a few tricks up my sleeve In case the spark recedes I'll draw a circle around the border and perimeter of time Of motivation and sensation and the walls that I can't climb I'm standing still and letting go At a speed that I can't know And I don't even try to pretend or comprehend That the circle never ends And the circle never ends The circle never ends The line distorts before it bends The fissure never mends The point where it suspends And the circle never ends And the circle never ends The circle never ends The path, it dips and then descends The straightest line deceives, detains Delineates and then extends And the circle never ends

A prodigal son Who could not go on How did I find myself here? Opened wide And I swallowed the tide How did I find myself here? But I could not conceive What I could hardly believe So I just had to leave I'm wondering who Put a spell on me and you How did I find myself here? Tripped up by my own game So I put my finger to the flame How did I find myself here? But I just didn't know What I'd laid out below So I knew I had to go I had to go. An impossible tide So I stepped right inside How did I find myself here? Refugee Who could not see How did I find myself here? But I could hardly believe What I could not conceive So I knew I had to leave I had to leave

I defy expectation, habit, law and repetition. I keep having the same dream. Lock of night is turned by this key. My hermit mind is not the same. Note the signs, fly time and space then, see new worlds formed by dreaming race. Close my eyes, vow to be bold traveling to the underworld. I keep having the same dream. I keep having the same dream. It's a beautiful dream. Like a memory of music fled I see three giants mount the hill. They first reveal their massive heads then stride as kings before me still. In frozen awe I watch them near; A stag An ox And rampant bear. Find the others meeting there. Creature guise in dreamer's lair. Where Dreamers dream a dream of dreaming. Rewrite a fate of random weaving. And bright self dreams with every breathing. I keep having the same dream. I keep having the same dream. It's a beautiful dream.
